James P.M. Odell, ND, OMD, L.Ac.
Dr. James Odell has practiced traditional naturopathy for over 35 years. He graduated with a doctorate in naturopathy from US International University (later renamed Alliant International University). He then began studies of traditional Chinese medicine. Having gained conversational fluency in Mandarin, he moved to China in 1986 and completed post-doctoral studies in traditional Chinese medicine at Shantou University Medical College, with medical residences at Shantou University Teaching Hospital, Shantou Central Hospital and Shiwan Hospital, Guangdong. Since returning from China, he has completed several internships in European Biological Regulatory Medicine at the Paracelsus Klinik in Lustmühle, Switzerland.
For over 10 years, Dr. Odell was the education coordinator for the Biological Medicine Network, which conducted conferences on the principles and practices of European Bioregulatory Medicine. Dr. Odell is certified in acupuncture with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is a PDA provider with the NCCAOM. He is licensed in acupuncture in Kentucky, Colorado, Utah, and South Carolina. He is a Certified Traditional Naturopath with the American Naturopathic Certification Board and is a Registered Naturopathic Diplomate with the Health Professional Licensing Administration for the Registration of Naturopathic Diplomates (RND). For over 25 years, he has been a Certified Instructor with the American Organization of Bodywork Therapies of Asia.
He frequently presents at conferences on breast cancer causation and treatment.
Dr. Odell's practice is closed to new patients. At present, he is primarily engaged in writing and research, serving as the Medical Director of the Bioregulatory Medicine Institute (BRMI).
